My entry for the mini-contest on and I put it in fanart because it is for a fan club.
This is Aika, she is the element of time (and the Finnish word for time, go figure), but everyone calls her Tic Toc. She is the daughter of Father Time, and can pause and speed up time, but she can't rewind it, which sucks because I can think of a million and a half times I'd like to rewind time. Tic Toc has a short temper, and the sound of clocks calms her down.
I tried to encompass multiple pieces of the time theme, with her clock gear necklace, her being trapped in an hour glass, her graying hair, and the infinity symbol on her face.
I've been wanting to draw someone in an hour glass for a long time, so I'm glad I finally had the chance to!
i always thought hourglasses were cool for some reason great picture, time as an element is always pretty interesting i also like the symbolism, which is always good to see in a picture good luck in the contest!!

I'm intrigued. You say you aren't a fan of Amuria; you also go and make "@w@" related jokes on Amuria-troll artists.. Yet your art style still looks like Amuria's and you submit art to the Amuria fanclub..
Well, that's understandable enough. However, I think you should still explore some different colouring and drawing styles because it still looks like Amuria work-unless you were aiming for this in this picture. I hope you don't mind my criticism, but I recall you saying that you were.. "Amuria with correct anatomy", or "Amuria if she didn't use dodge"? Yet you still colour the same way as her, albeit, yes, not so shiny.

Daily Literature Deviations is a group that is dedicated to bringing literature to the forefront of the deviantArt community. We attempt to accomplish this by daily featuring Literature artists from around the community that deserve the recognition, but are not getting it.
Each day we will feature 5 deviations from the Literature categories in a News Article. In order to support the artists that we feature, we ask that you the news article as well as check out the individual pieces. We understand that each day you may not be able to check out each and every one of the pieces, everyone has their own things going on. We just ask that you make an attempt to help support the growing Literature community.
